וַיַּכּ֗וּ אֵ֤ת כָּל־הֶֽעָרִים֙ סְבִיב֣וֹת גְּרָ֔ר כִּי־הָיָ֥ה פַֽחַד־יְהוָ֖ה עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וַיָּבֹ֙זּוּ֙ אֶת־כָּל־הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים כִּֽי־בִזָּ֥ה רַבָּ֖ה הָיְתָ֥ה בָהֶֽם׃
Y Asa, y el pueblo que con él estaba, lo siguió hasta Gerar: y cayeron los Etiopes hasta no quedar en ellos aliento; porque fueron deshechos delante de SEÑOR y de su ejército. Y les tomaron muy grande despojo.

The prayer of Samuel destroyed the power of the children of Agag against Israel, as it is said, "And Samuel broke Agag before the Lord in Gilgal" (ibid.).
